I’m just an IT guy from Hawaii. Started my IT journey back in 2007 and have been enjoying it ever since. I love learning new things from every company I’ve been at. I’m an adaptable/dynamic IT professional with a robust track record in system administration and infrastructure management, recognized for driving efficiency and enhancing security in different environments. AXIA HOME LOANS – IT SYSTEM ADMIN (MAR 2021 – JAN 2025)

  • Migrated VMWare vSphere environment from an MSP to inhouse.
  • Documented IT infrastructure (AD/GPO, vSphere, Firewalls, Internal applications)
  • Performed escalated support for Service Desk team. Provided mentorship if needed.
  • Setup & managed Meraki firewalls for branch offices.
  • Took part of a Red-Team pen test. Mitigated log4j. Applied necessary fixes for infrastructure.
  • Managed Windows and Linux on-premises environment. Performed scheduled updates.
  • Configure and renew SSO for third party apps using Azure.
  • Design & Implement Intune/Hello for Business/LAPS for the company.
  • Managed OnGuard Lenel Door System.

  • Managed IT infrastructure. Performed Helpdesk for 320+ employees.
  • Worked with VP and CEO to help expand RET from 25 clinics to 40+ within 2 years.
  • Created an internal SharePoint site for sharing information among the clinics.
  • Managed billing for their IT services. Did purchasing and approvals with Finance/Managers.
  • Create a detailed documentation of their IT environment to assist their parent company.

AUDIENCESCIENCE – IT ENGINEER (SEPTEMBER 2014 – JUNE 2017)

  • Main IT contact for the Windows infrastructure within company.
  • Performed help desk duties for users in India, NYC, Singapore, and WA.
  • Management & Documentation of our various 3rd party tools. (JIRA, Symantec, etc.)
  • Managed their CAL licensing and performed routine audits of their hardware.
  • Worked with HR on highly confidential tasks to assist the company during closure.

OCCIDENTAL UNDERWRITERS OF HAWAII – COMPUTER SUPPORT (NOV 2012 – DEC 2014)

  • Help desk duties for Oahu, Kauai, and Maui users.
  • Managed SonicWALL firewalls and performed upgrades if needed.
  • Worked with Windows Server 2008 R2/Active Directory /Exchange 2010.
  • Assisted with new hires and terminations.
  • Managed endpoint security system (Symantec). Configured & deployed an on prem management server.
  • Managed Backup exec. Did tape incremental backups.
  • Deployed a NAS at their corporate office.
  • Documented IT tasks and procedures.
